Case study
The product had a lot of great features but it was unclear what direction it should take to achieve commercial viability. Together with the client, we defined the core assumption as being:
"People want to live more sustainably but don’t know how to."
We identified three customer profiles - end consumers, influencers and brands - each interacting with the platform, and by analysing a range of existing solutions established the following hypothesis:
"People want sustainable products and information but they don’t know where to find them."
Through a series of unbiased interviews, we positively validated the assumption and identified three new features to help people quickly locate relevant sustainable information and products specific to their needs.
The resulting direction opened the door to large retail partnerships.
